OUR STORY
Sam returned to the family farm in 2021 and brought cattle back to the farm for the first time in 20 years.

Prior to that he managed a large arable farm in Cambridgeshire, but now he, along with his wife Emma, want to raise their family (Lottie and her little brother or sister due in August) with an understanding of high-quality local produce and high animal welfare.

In the last two years, Sam has grown the herd of British heritage breed cattle (Aberdeen Angus, Herefords and British Blues), as well as a flock of sheep which graze the pastures over winter.

We have recently taken on more land and will be building up a herd of British Longhorns... watch this space!

The dream is to produce high-quality, locally produced meat to deliver to the local market.

About Longbrook Farm
Longbrook Farm is a small livestock farm in Thurning on the outskirts of Oundle in the Northamptonshire countryside.

Longbrook Farm was first farmed by the Paske family in 2000 and now Sam and his father, Norman, run the farm together, with help from Sam's wife, Emma, his daughter, Lottie, and George, the stockman.

Our cattle are purely grass-fed whilst grazing the fields from around April through until October. Over winter they are tucked up in our cattle sheds.
We are Red Tractor Assured which means we adhere to the high standards set out by the Red Tractor food chain assurance scheme which underpins the high standards of British food & drink.
